Part D: Conservation efforts at Jurong Lake Park / conclusionThere are signs all over the place in Jurong Lake Park. One of the sign in Jurong Lake Park is actually telling people that no littering, no swimming, etc. on the lake. which is one of the efforts made by them.
They also hire people to clear the river on a small raft by picking up the rubbish or empty bottles that was thrown by park users in the river.
They did. But we think that they should do more. What they do is quite effective as certain people will follow the rules but there are still problems. They should implant more bins. the reason why park users throw litter into the lake is because they can't find a bin or the bins are too far and there are too lazy to walk over. If moroe bins are implanted in the park, Im quite sure the number of litter and empty bottles in and around the lake will decrease quite alot. this could be one way to protect the enviornment.

Part C:
Firstly, man polluted the river by throwing plastic bottles into the lakes. When the marine creatures in the lake sees the waste, they will just consume it not realising how harmful they are. This will cause the animals to be poisoned and therefore leads to the death of the animals. This plays apart in the decreasing number of biodiversity.
Secondly, man cut down trees and as this process is ongoing, the habitats of many animals are now destroyed. the animals are either squashed by the tree or do not have a place to stay and therefore, still results in death. This plays a LARGE part in the depleting number of biodiversity, many animals are now dying because of this.

This is a photo of a drip-tip leaf. It is commonly found in tropical places like Singapore.
It drains water more efficently.
This is a photo of snail eggs. They are found on rocks near the lake. They are called grouping is gastropods.
